Man Charged with Triple Murder in Baldwin Park

Kyle Chester De Los Reyes, 23, has been charged with three counts of murder following the stabbing deaths of his relatives—Rona Nate, 44, and her children, 16-year-old Paul Manangan and 8-year-old Mia Narvaez—at their Baldwin Park home on December 26. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced special allegations against De Los Reyes for using a deadly weapon and committing multiple murders, which could lead to life imprisonment or the death penalty. Police responded to a disturbance at the residence and found the victims with multiple stab wounds, all pronounced dead at the scene. De Los Reyes, who attempted to flee in a vehicle, was arrested shortly after. The motive for the stabbings remains unclear, and De Los Reyes is currently being held without bail, with his arraignment set for January 15.
