Rajasthan High Court Exonerates Gajendra Singh Shekhawat

The court dismissed Shekhawat's petition to quash the FIR against him after the Special Operations Group (SOG) reported no evidence of his involvement. Shekhawat, who claimed he was wrongfully implicated due to political motivations from former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, celebrated the verdict as a 'victory of truth.' Gehlot has alleged that a 'U-turn' by the SOG followed a change in state power, and he has called for a Special Investigation Team to probe the matter further. The Sanjivani scam has been under investigation since 2019, impacting thousands of investors. The court clarified that the SOG cannot continue investigations against Shekhawat without trial court permission, affirming his non-involvement following his resignation from related companies.
