BDS Urges Boycott of Radiohead 2025 European, UK Tour

Radiohead has announced its first live shows in seven years, scheduled for late 2025 across various European cities including London, Madrid, and Berlin. However, the band faces calls for boycott from the pro-Palestine Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement due to guitarist Jonny Greenwood's performances in Tel Aviv in 2024 and his collaborations with Israeli musician Dudu Tassa. BDS and supporters accuse the band of complicity and silence amid ongoing violence in Gaza, demanding Radiohead publicly distance itself from Greenwood's actions, which they describe as crossing a peaceful picket line during a time they call genocide against Palestinians. Greenwood has defended his artistic collaborations, emphasizing the cultural significance of combining Arab and Jewish musicians and rejecting silencing Israeli artists based on their nationality.
