Rain Eliminates SRH From IPL 2025 Playoff Race

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), last season's runners-up, have been officially eliminated from the IPL 2025 playoffs after their rain-abandoned match against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Hyderabad, with both teams sharing a point. SRH now sit eighth in the standings with seven points from 11 matches and will play only for pride in their remaining fixtures. DC, in fifth place with 13 points from 11 matches, still have three games left to pursue a playoff berth. The match saw SRH restrict DC to 133/7, led by Pat Cummins' three wickets, before rain halted play. Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals have also been eliminated from playoff contention.
