Junmyung Lee Guilty in High-End Brothel Case

Junmyung Lee, the 'booker' of a high-end interstate brothel network operating in Greater Boston and Virginia, has pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy related to prostitution and money laundering. Lee, alongside ringleader Han Lee and James Lee, ran a sophisticated operation that catered to wealthy and influential clients, including politicians and business executives. The network recruited mostly Asian women and transformed high-end apartments into brothels, charging clients up to $600 per hour. The operation involved meticulous vetting of clients and laundering of proceeds through personal accounts and money orders. As part of his plea deal, Junmyung Lee will forfeit $200,000 and a Corvette, and he faces up to 25 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for February 12, following Han Lee's sentencing in December.
