McDonald's Brings Back MONOPOLY Oct. 6

McDonald’s is reviving its MONOPOLY Game in U.S. restaurants starting Oct. 6, 2025, for a limited time, with in‑app Bonus Play running through Nov. 2. The reboot is digital‑first through the McDonald’s app for registered MyMcDonald’s loyalty members, paired with some physical peel‑and‑scan game pieces on packaging; customers who pre‑register Sept. 29–Oct. 5 receive 500 bonus MyMcDonald’s Rewards points. Prizes range from frequent instant wins of free food and rewards points—instant food prizes are about one‑in‑five—to major awards including $1 million in cash, 1,000,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles, trips (including FIFA World Cup and Universal Orlando packages), and 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokees. The promotion includes a Bonus Play second‑chance feature and McDonald’s says the campaign is meant to tap nostalgia and drive loyalty and restaurant visits. McDonald’s said it has implemented safeguards, security protocols and independent audits to address the program’s notorious “McMillions” fraud scandal, which previously led to arrests and convictions.
