North Las Vegas Officer Shot Suspect After Assault

A North Las Vegas police officer was struck by a car while responding to a suspicious vehicle with two adults and three children at a business parking lot near Tropical Parkway and I-15, marking the city's second officer-involved shooting of 2025. After the driver hit a child and then the officer, the officer shot and injured the suspect, who was taken into custody and hospitalized.
