Trio Arrested for Stealing 200 Vases from Wilmington Cemetery

Delaware State Police have arrested three individuals from Newark—Thomas Hudson, Ashley Newcomb, and Alonza Mosley—following a series of thefts at All Saints Cemetery in Wilmington. Between September and November 2024, the trio allegedly stole nearly 200 bronze ceremonial vases from gravestones, with an estimated total value exceeding $100,000. The suspects reportedly trespassed at night, using large bags to carry the stolen items, which they later sold at a recycling center while impersonating another person to complete the transactions. After a months-long investigation, police executed search and arrest warrants at a Newark residence, apprehending the suspects without incident. Each individual faces multiple felony charges, including theft and selling stolen property. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities seek to identify a fourth suspect involved in the thefts.
