FBI Arrests Over 200 Child Abuse Offenders Nationwide, 12 in Michigan

Operation Restore Justice, a nationwide FBI-led initiative, resulted in the arrest of over 200 suspected child sex abuse offenders across the United States, including multiple arrests in states such as Arizona, Ohio, and Michigan. The operation was coordinated by all 55 FBI field offices and supported by state and local agencies, targeting individuals involved in crimes ranging from production and distribution of child sexual abuse material to online enticement and child sex trafficking. Authorities highlighted that offenders included school leaders, registered sex offenders, and even law enforcement members, emphasizing the pervasiveness of these crimes within communities. In addition to the arrests, more than 115 children were rescued during the multi-day operation.
