Child Dead, Two Adults Seriously Injured After Louisville Smyrna Parkway Crash
A tragic multi-vehicle crash on Smyrna Parkway in Louisville resulted in the death of a 10-year-old child and left two adults hospitalized in serious condition. The collision, involving a white van and an SUV, occurred around 8:45 p.m. on June 7. All three victims were transported to the University of Louisville Hospital, where the child was pronounced dead. Louisville Metro Police Department's Traffic Unit is investigating the cause of the crash, with no charges filed at this time. Smyrna Parkway was closed until approximately 3 a.m. the following day before reopening. Authorities continue to look into the incident to determine what led to the collision.
