52 Senior Candidates Vie for Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026
Several former NFL players from multiple teams, including the Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, and Dallas Cowboys, are among the 52 senior candidates considered for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2026. Notable Bengals candidates include quarterback Ken Anderson, wide receiver Isaac Curtis, and defensive back Lemar Parrish, each with significant team achievements and multiple Pro Bowl selections. Former 49ers running back Roger Craig, known for his historic 1,000 rushing and receiving yards in one season and multiple Super Bowl wins, is also a senior candidate and has been a finalist previously. Five former Falcons—Chris Hinton, Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, Mike Kenn, Clay Matthews Jr., and Tommy Nobis—are on the list under consideration. The Cowboys' candidates include Lee Roy Jordan, Everson Walls, Harvey Martin, Don Meredith, and Ed "Too Tall" Jones, all distinguished by Pro Bowl appearances and other accolades. The Seniors Blue Ribbon Committee will reduce the candidates from 52 to 25, then to nine semifinalists, and finally three finalists for the Hall of Fame induction in August 2026.
