Remedy Entertainment Releases FBC Firebreak Co-op Shooter

FBC: Firebreak is Remedy Entertainment's first multiplayer co-op shooter, set in the same universe as their acclaimed game Control and taking place six years after its events. Players form three-person teams called Firebreak to combat the supernatural Hiss invasion within the Federal Bureau of Control's headquarters, the Oldest House. Unlike Control's powerful protagonist Jesse Faden, Firebreak's players are ordinary agents equipped with makeshift gear, requiring strategic teamwork and coordination to survive increasingly challenging objectives. The game combines Remedy’s signature surreal and chaotic atmosphere with extraction shooter mechanics reminiscent of classics like Left 4 Dead, emphasizing both depth in character builds and accessible gameplay.
