Franklin Police Identify Armed Robbery Suspect at McDonald's

William D. Bartholomew, 52, of Jackson, Tennessee, is wanted for an armed robbery that took place at a McDonald's on Galleria Boulevard in Cool Springs on Wednesday night. Bartholomew, described as a heavyset white man with a gray beard, wore a black head covering and a blanket with WWE logos during the incident, during which he pointed a pistol at an employee and demanded money before fleeing with cash. He is believed to be driving a white Kia Soul with a Tennessee license plate partially covered with duct tape. No injuries were reported, but Bartholomew is considered armed and dangerous, and police urge the public not to approach him. Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for aggravated robbery and are asking anyone with information to contact the Franklin Police Department or Crime Stoppers, which is offering up to $1,000 for tips leading to an arrest.
