NoMad Hotel To Open In Detroit Station 2027

NoMad Hotels, in partnership with Ford Motor Company, Hilton, and Sydell Group, will open its first Michigan location inside Detroit’s historic Michigan Central Station, with the hotel debuting in 2027. The luxury hotel will feature 180 guest rooms, including 30 suites, occupying floors 14 to 18 for the first time in the building’s 112-year history. Amenities will include wellness facilities, a signature restaurant in the former carriage house, and spaces reflecting Detroit’s cultural and artistic heritage. The announcement comes as Ford completes its multi-year restoration of the once-abandoned landmark, positioning it as a tech and cultural hub in Detroit’s Corktown district. This initiative is part of Hilton’s global expansion of its luxury and lifestyle hotel portfolio. The redevelopment aims to attract international visitors, local residents, and creative innovators to the revitalized Corktown area.
