Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe is teaming up with ONE Championship for a new MMA-based film titled 'The Beast in Me'. The film, co-written by Crowe and David Frigerio, stars Daniel MacPherson as a former MMA fighter who, with the help of a veteran trainer played by Crowe, seeks to avenge his brother's death by returning to competition. Directed by Tyler Atkins, the movie will feature live action sequences filmed during the ONE Friday Fights event on January 24, 2025, in Bangkok. ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong and select fighters from the promotion will also appear in the film. Production is set to begin later in 2024 and continue into 2025.
