Boston Blue Premiere Features First Cast Crossover

Bridget Moynahan will reprise her role as Erin Reagan in the premiere episode of CBS's Blue Bloods spinoff, Boston Blue, marking the first main cast crossover to the new series. Moynahan will also direct an episode this season, building on her prior directing work in Blue Bloods. Boston Blue follows Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) as he transfers from the NYPD to the Boston Police Department and partners with Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green). The cast also features Mika Amonsen as Sean Reagan, Maggie Lawson, Marcus Scribner, Gloria Reuben, and Ernie Hudson. The show will air Fridays at 10 p.m. ET in Blue Bloods’ former slot, produced by CBS Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television. Donnie Wahlberg has hinted at more Blue Bloods cast crossovers in future episodes.
