Robbie Williams revealed that he had to amend the script of his upcoming biopic, 'Better Man', after his former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow expressed dissatisfaction with his portrayal, claiming he came off 'worse than Darth Vader in Star Wars'. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Williams explained that while discussing his contentious past, he understands how the film could be difficult for Barlow. The biopic uniquely features Williams being portrayed by a CGI chimpanzee, a creative decision he believes adds a fresh twist to the genre. He candidly acknowledged the film exposes his more controversial moments, including his struggles with addiction and relationship failures. Williams also commented on the possibility of the film helping him break into the American market, saying it would 'scratch an itch'. Despite the potential backlash, he stated he doesn't care about offending others in the film.
