Cincinnati Football Players Earn All-Big 12 Honors

Cincinnati linebacker Simeon Coleman has been named to On3's 2024 Freshman All-American team after a strong debut season with 32 tackles and a forced fumble. Additionally, a trio of Union City High School players, including standout Cohen Simpson, has been selected for the SportsPlus West Tennessee High School All-Star game, showcasing their impressive performances this season. In college football, the University of Cincinnati Bearcats celebrated the achievements of three players, including Dontay Corleone and Luke Kandra, who received All-Big 12 First Team honors, with Kandra also noted for his top offensive line performance throughout the season. Corleone faced a health challenge yet still made a significant impact on the field. Joe Royer, another Bearcat, broke a long-standing school record for tight end receptions, highlighting his successful transfer and performance this year. Collectively, these achievements reflect the growing talent and recognition of Cincinnati's football programs at both high school and collegiate levels.
