Waleses Move to Forest Lodge; Andrew Agrees Sandringham

Prince William and Catherine have moved with their three children from Adelaide Cottage into Forest Lodge, an eight‑bedroom Grade II‑listed Georgian mansion in Windsor Great Park. They timed the relocation to the children’s half‑term and aimed to settle in by Bonfire Night, presenting the move as a fresh start after difficult years including Kate’s cancer diagnosis. Preparations included a security exclusion zone, new fencing and closures of parts of the park — including Cranbourne Gate and its car park — and residents within about a half‑mile were invited to apply for gate keys for a fee, measures that have prompted local frustration.
