Independent MLA P V Anvar has leveled serious allegations against Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) M R Ajith Kumar, claiming he is constructing a lavish 15,000 square-foot home in Kowdiar, Thiruvananthapuram, with land valued at approximately Rs 15 crore. Anvar has suggested that Kumar's wealth raises questions about its source, particularly considering the high land prices in the area. Furthermore, Anvar released an audio clip alleging that Kumar sabotaged the Solar scam investigation, allowing key accused, primarily Congress members, to escape justice. He also made claims regarding Kumar's involvement in gold smuggling and linked him to a murder case from Edavanna, suggesting a cover-up orchestrated by the police. The Chief Minister has ordered an inquiry into these allegations, which include scrutiny of Kumar's financial dealings and property acquisitions.
