Spring Nationals Concludes with Record Attendance, Major Racing Highlights in Nashville
The Spring Nationals at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway concluded on April 19 with one of the largest opening crowds in recent history and a total of 162 race cars participating. The headline 100-lap Pro Late Model feature saw Chase Johnson of Mt. Juliet, TN, dominate by setting the fastest qualifying time, leading the majority of laps, and reclaiming the lead after a competition caution to secure victory, while Hunter Wright, Max Reaves, Corey Deuser, and Anthony Bello rounded out the top five. In the Street Stock division, Dillon Oliver led all 30 laps for the win, followed by Blaine Akin. The CP Race Wear Bandolero Series featured Brexton Busch, son of NASCAR's Kyle Busch, who continued his undefeated streak in the Bandit class with his third straight win. Jacob Hassey claimed victory in the Beginner Bandolero, and Landon Thrasher completed a weekend sweep in the Outlaw Bandolero division. The event also included a notable win by Michael Crafton in the U.S. Air Force Legend Car Series and strong performances across several divisions, highlighting an action-packed weekend for fans and drivers alike.
