Florida Man Arrested After Allegedly Running Over Woman With SUV Over Foot Fetish Dispute

A violent incident occurred on August 24 at the Serena Hotel in Aventura, Florida, when Elmoncy Sercle, 28, allegedly ran over a woman with his SUV after she refused to let him smell her feet. The two had met on the dating app Seeking, and the woman, a professional foot model, had agreed to meet Sercle to sell him used shoes. She became uncomfortable when Sercle requested to smell her feet and buy her sneakers, which she priced at $1,000. After she excused herself to the restroom, Sercle fled the room, prompting the woman to follow him to the hotel parking garage, where he then accelerated his red Mercedes SUV toward her, struck her with the vehicle, and fled the scene. The victim sustained bruises and road rash requiring immediate medical attention and described the experience as "extremely bizarre." Sercle was arrested on charges of aggravated battery and is scheduled to appear in court.
