New NCAA APR Leaders Highlight Academic Excellence

The NCAA released its latest Academic Progress Rate (APR) data, revealing strong academic performances from several universities across the country. The University of Wyoming exceeded the Division I average with a 992 APR and seven teams earning perfect scores. The University of Virginia achieved a 993 multi-year APR, with seven programs posting perfect scores and 17 programs scoring at least 990. Arizona's men's basketball team earned a perfect APR for the third consecutive year, accompanied by nine other Arizona programs achieving top marks. Florida State University set a school record with a 992 multi-year APR and six programs attaining perfect scores. These results illustrate a continued nationwide emphasis on academic excellence among student-athletes.
