Adani Green Energy Announces CEO Transition

Ashish Khanna, currently the CEO of the International Energy Business, will take over as AGEL's CEO starting April 1, 2025. This strategic shift is part of Adani Group's internal planning to enhance its international growth, particularly in regions like MENA. Singh, who has extensive global experience in the energy sector, will aid the group's expansion efforts, while Khanna brings over three decades of expertise in renewables and infrastructure. The transition follows a tumultuous period for the Adani Group, which has faced accusations of corruption that have impacted its financial operations. Despite these challenges, AGEL reported a significant increase in net profit and revenue for the recent quarter, indicating strong business performance.
