Originally listed at £2.5 million in 2017, the property, associated with Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols, was difficult to sell due to its poor condition, including a roof with multiple holes and windows without glass. The new anonymous owners plan to invest approximately £750,000 in renovations to transform it into a modern, three-storey home, potentially increasing its value to £3 million. The sale was facilitated by Noah Pearlman, a consultant at Harding Green, who described the process as an emotional rollercoaster due to the vendor's initial reluctance to sell. Despite its derelict state, the property's prime location in Maida Vale contributes significantly to its value.
