Julian Goode-Wallace Charged with Murder in Fayetteville

Fayetteville police have arrested 26-year-old Julian Goode-Wallace, charging him with first-degree murder in connection with the death of 24-year-old Jakaira Ortiz, who was found suffering from fatal injuries at a home on January 4. Officers responded to a missing person call in the area of Tamarack Drive and discovered Ortiz deceased at the scene. Goode-Wallace was apprehended near Santa Fe Drive and is currently held at the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond. Meanwhile, another murder case involved the arrest of 40-year-old Christopher Wayne Walker, who was charged with the first-degree murder of 57-year-old Sherri Miller, found dead in her home on Ireland Drive. Walker was taken into custody near Goldsboro after police located him, and he too is being held without bond. Both investigations are ongoing, with authorities encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
