Amber Iovino Confesses to Oceanside Movie Theater Arson

Amber Iovino, a 41-year-old woman, has confessed to intentionally setting a fire at a movie theater in Oceanside, California on January 29. The fire, which originated in a drainage pipe and caused heavy smoke, resulted in over $10,000 in damages to the building. Firefighters from Oceanside, Vista, and Carlsbad quickly extinguished the blaze. Surveillance footage helped investigators identify Iovino as the suspect, leading to her arrest on February 4 and subsequent booking into San Diego County Jail on charges of arson.
