Greensboro Police Arrest Suspect in 2022 NC A&T Student Homicide

The Greensboro Police Department announced the arrest of 20-year-old Rishon Elias Weaver in connection with the 2022 homicide of Kaneycha Turner, a freshman at North Carolina A&T, who was killed in a mass shooting off campus. The October 2022 shooting at an outdoor block party resulted in six people being shot, including Turner and 15-year-old Ronaldlee Snipes, both of whom died. Weaver has been charged with first-degree murder for Turner's death, while the investigation into Snipes' killing remains ongoing.
