Hezbollah Fires Rockets into Northern Israel

Northern Israel experienced renewed rocket fire from Hezbollah in Lebanon, triggering sirens in multiple towns including Yokneam, Dovev, and around Haifa. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that approximately 50 rockets were launched toward Safed and the Upper Galilee, with the Iron Dome intercepting most of them. The alerts marked the first time in over nine months that Afula's sirens were activated. Reports indicate that explosions were heard near Ramat David airbase, and Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating they fired 100 rockets. Some rockets landed in unpopulated areas, but many caused fires in various localities. The IDF is currently investigating the incidents as tensions with Hezbollah escalate.
