Stroud's 318 Yards Lead Texans Past 49ers 26-15
C.J. Stroud completed 30 of 39 passes for a season-high 318 yards and two touchdowns as the Houston Texans beat the San Francisco 49ers 26-15. Houston never trailed, built a 23-7 lead, finished with a season-high 475 total yards and held the ball for more than 41 minutes while converting key third downs. Stroud spread the ball to nine different targets despite missing Nico Collins (concussion), hitting big plays to Xavier Hutchinson and a touchdown to Jayden Higgins, and Ka'imi Fairbairn added four field goals. San Francisco, with Brock Purdy out in spots and Mac Jones under center, managed two touchdowns but could not sustain drives and saw Christian McCaffrey limited on the ground. A late Kamari Lassiter interception sealed the Texans' win, which improved Houston to 3-4 while San Francisco fell to 5-3.
