The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in a targeted airstrike on his headquarters in the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut. Along with Nasrallah, the IDF reported that several other high-ranking Hezbollah commanders, including Ali Karki, were also killed in the attack. This strike, described as one of the most powerful against Hezbollah since the onset of their conflict with Israel, resulted in at least six deaths and 91 injuries, with numbers expected to rise as rescue efforts continue. Eyewitnesses reported extensive destruction, including the leveling of six buildings and significant displacement of residents. The IDF stated that this operation sends a clear message to those threatening Israel, highlighting ongoing military readiness and operations against Hezbollah. Hezbollah has disputed the claims regarding Nasrallah's death, asserting that he remains unharmed.
