Additionally, Savencia Cheese USA has recalled certain soft-ripened cheeses for similar concerns. In Canada, numerous bread and bun brands are being recalled by the CFIA after metal pieces were discovered, affecting brands like Country Harvest, D'Italiano, and Wonder. The contamination is linked to Sifto brand Hy·Grade Salt, and Wonderbrands has ceased using the problematic material. Consumers are advised to return or dispose of affected products immediately.
