Ramanaidu criticized former Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for allegedly spreading misinformation about the project's status and accused his party of mismanaging funds. The minister claimed that 72% of the work was completed during the previous TDP regime but has since slowed under the YSR Congress government. Experts from the U.S. and Canada are involved in reviewing the project's plans and designs to facilitate its completion. The state government is working closely with the Central government to resume work and address safety concerns regarding the damaged diaphragm wall.
