Iowa Neighbor Dispute Leaves Couple Dead, Suspect Hurt

Brandon Oman, 38, and his wife Stevie Oman, 35, were shot dead Wednesday night around 7:30 p.m. in Glenwood, Iowa, with their neighbor, 71-year-old Dennis Burnell, identified as the suspect. The violence followed an interpersonal or neighbor dispute, after which Burnell's home exploded and caught fire. Burnell was critically injured and arrested upon exiting his burning residence before being hospitalized. Authorities noted prior police responses to Burnell's home and that he was convicted of third-degree harassment against a neighbor last year.
