Amazon Relaunches Luna Free for Prime Members

Amazon relaunched Luna, making the cloud-streaming service available at no extra cost to Prime members with over 50 included games and refocusing it on social, beginner-friendly play. The centerpiece is GameNight, a collection of roughly 25–30 local multiplayer titles redesigned so players can join with smartphones as controllers, including The Jackbox Party Pack 9 and reworked Angry Birds and Tetris Effect. Prime users can stream AAA games such as Hogwarts Legacy, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and TopSpin 2K25. A rebranded Luna Premium tier (formerly Luna+/Luna Plus) costs $9.99 per month for an expanded library that includes EA Sports FC 25 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Amazon also launched an exclusive AI voice‑driven improv game, Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg, which has drawn positive hands‑on reaction. Amazon says streaming is capped at 1080p and that performance will vary with users' internet connections.
