U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers arrested 19-year-old Jose Angel Quinones at the Juarez-Lincoln Bridge on September 7, who was wanted for homicide by the Collin County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest was made after Quinones was referred for a secondary inspection upon entering the U.S. from Mexico. Utilizing biometric verification and federal law enforcement databases, officers confirmed his identity and the active felony warrant for homicide. Port Director Albert Flores emphasized the importance of public safety and collaboration with local law enforcement in ensuring the arrest of this individual. Quinones has been transported to Webb County Jail and awaits legal proceedings. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
