Riot Fest Announces 2025 20th Anniversary Lineup in Chicago

Riot Fest has announced its 20th anniversary lineup for the 2025 festival, featuring headliners Green Day, Blink-182, Weezer, and Jack White. The three-day event will take place September 19-21 at Douglass Park in Chicago and will also include performances from acts like the Sex Pistols, Idles, The Beach Boys, Rilo Kiley, Alkaline Trio, Dropkick Murphys, and 'Weird Al' Yankovic, among others. Over 90 bands are scheduled to perform, and tickets are now on sale starting at around $300 for general admission. Riot Fest recently secured a multi-year agreement to remain in Douglass Park through at least 2027, drawing both support and criticism from the local community over issues like park access and noise. Last year, the festival briefly considered relocating to SeatGeek Stadium due to permit challenges but ultimately stayed in Douglass Park after renewed negotiations. Organizers emphasize their commitment to building a lasting cultural event and investing in the neighborhood that hosts the festival.
