A 13-second TikTok clip posted Sept. 19 (credited variously to @maplesworld22 and @kaylamierzejewski) shows a woman stuck on her back inside a clear waterslide tube that juts about 11 feet beyond a ship and roughly 159 feet above the ocean; the video has been viewed millions of times. Multiple outlets and social-media commenters identified the attraction as Norwegian Cruise Line’s Ocean Loops and the vessel as likely the Bliss on a seven-day Alaska cruise near Victoria, B.C., though the ship and details have not been independently confirmed. Norwegian told USA TODAY the slide “features an escape hatch” so guests can exit safely if they cannot complete the ride, and the TikTok poster later commented the woman was “perfectly fine,” but it remains unclear how she was freed.
