Florida Man Charged in AIPAC Threat Plot

Forrest Kendall Pemberton, a 26-year-old from Gainesville, Florida, has been charged with stalking after allegedly plotting an attack on an AIPAC office in Plantation, Florida, during Hanukkah. Pemberton's father reported him missing on December 23, leading authorities to discover a concerning note that expressed anti-authority and antisemitic sentiments. He was arrested on December 25 after traveling to the wrong address of AIPAC's former headquarters with three firearms, including an AR-15 rifle. In interviews with law enforcement, Pemberton indicated he had planned a mass casualty event but was uncertain about his own fate post-attack. AIPAC has expressed appreciation for the FBI's intervention, emphasizing their commitment to countering threats against their organization.
