Walsall Train Station Stabbing Charge Upgraded to Murder

Rhiannon Skye Whyte, a 27-year-old woman, tragically died following a stabbing incident at Bescot Stadium train station in Walsall on October 20th, with tributes pouring in from her family. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries three days later. Deng Cholmajek, an 18-year-old from Walsall, was initially charged with attempted murder, but detectives plan to amend the charge to murder. Detective Chief Inspector Paul Attwell described the incident as isolated and confirmed that specialist officers are supporting the grieving family. The case has been moved to Wolverhampton Crown Court, with the next appearance scheduled for November 19th.
