King Charles Welcomes Rare Royal Family Member to Balmoral Summer Gathering
King Charles has invited Princess Beatrice's stepson, Christopher Woolf Mapelli Mozzi, known as Wolfie, to join the Royal Family's summer holiday at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Wolfie, who is rarely seen in public and is the son of Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and his ex-partner Dara Huang, is expected to enjoy outdoor activities such as wild swimming and cycling during the stay. The royal gathering also includes Queen Camilla, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo, her sister Princess Eugenie, and their families. Wolfie has previously appeared at public royal events, including the Sandringham Christmas walk and the Lionesses' victory parade, and played a significant role as best man and page boy at Beatrice and Edoardo's private wedding in 2020. Both Beatrice and Dara Huang have worked to protect Wolfie's privacy, but he is warmly embraced by the Royal Family and considered a beloved member. King Charles, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, is said to find Balmoral a place of relaxation and comfort, and the presence of Wolfie is likely to add to the joy of the royal retreat.
