Focus Features to Release Anderson's 'The Phoenician Scheme'

Wes Anderson's upcoming film 'The Phoenician Scheme' is set for a limited release on May 30, 2025, with a wider release on June 6, distributed by Focus Features, while Universal Pictures handles the international distribution. The espionage comedy drama features an ensemble cast, including Benicio del Toro, Mia Threapleton, and Michael Cera, with appearances by Tom Hanks, Bill Murray, and Scarlett Johansson, among others. The film, co-written with Roman Coppola, tells the story of a family and their business, with Anderson also serving as a producer under his American Empirical Pictures banner.
