Cooper Witten, a promising 6-foot-2 safety from Liberty Christian School and son of former Tennessee tight end Jason Witten, has received a football scholarship offer from the University of Tennessee after a conversation with head coach Josh Heupel. Currently in his sophomore year, Cooper also holds offers from several schools including Oklahoma, Missouri, UAB, TCU, Duke, and Baylor. Meanwhile, his brother C.J. Witten, a 6-foot-1 linebacker, has committed to Rice University after an impressive junior season where he earned All-TAPPS honors and led Liberty Christian to a state championship. Both brothers have contributed significantly to their team's success, with C.J. recording 108 tackles and multiple defensive accolades. Jason Witten, now the head coach at Liberty Christian, has been instrumental in guiding his sons and the team as they prepare for the upcoming season, starting August 30 against Fort Bend Christian Academy.
