OnlyFans Pays $20 Billion to Creators Since 2016

OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair announced at the Bloomberg Screentime conference that the platform has paid out $20 billion to its creators since its launch in 2016, with $5.32 billion disbursed in the most recent fiscal year alone. The subscription-based service, which primarily relies on pay-per-view events and tips, has seen a significant increase in user engagement, with over 305 million registered users. Blair emphasized that the platform is inclusive, hosting diverse content beyond adult material, and allows creators the freedom to express controversial viewpoints. Notably, more than half of OnlyFans' revenue comes from micro-transactions rather than traditional subscriptions. While the platform is renowned for adult content, it also features creators from various fields, including cooking and fitness. Despite its success, Blair indicated there are no current plans for a public offering.
