Producer Sanjay Tiwari and writer Gulbanu Khan have accused Shaandilyaa of copying the central idea from their 2015 registered script, 'Sex Hai Toh Life Hai?', which revolves around a couple's private video mishap. A legal notice has been sent to the film's producers, including T-Series and Balaji Motion Pictures, demanding a cease and desist over the alleged infringement. Tiwari claims that their planned film was delayed, resulting in the current situation, and they are prepared to take further legal action if a response is not received. The film is set to be released on October 11, 2024, amidst these allegations.
