Harrison Sets Fastest Ever Lap in Isle of Man TT Qualifying

Dean Harrison set a new record during the first timed Superbike qualifying session at the 2025 Isle of Man TT, posting a blistering lap speed of 133.069mph, the fastest ever recorded on the opening night. Harrison, riding for Honda Racing UK, led the Superbike category ahead of Peter Hickman and Davey Todd, with Todd also topping the Superstock class at 131.231mph. Michael Dunlop led the Supersport category on his Ducati Panigale V2, and Rob Hodson was fastest in the Supertwin class. The qualifying session was cut short by low cloud after just one lap in some classes, with Ryan and Callum Crowe leading the Sidecar category. Despite limited practice due to damp conditions, the pace set was exceptionally high, with multiple riders exceeding 130mph on the Mountain Course. Racing is scheduled to continue with further qualifying sessions before the first Supersport race begins on Saturday.
