Suriya Completes Filming for 'Suriya 44'

Suriya has officially wrapped filming for his upcoming project, tentatively titled 'Suriya 44', directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film, which also stars Pooja Hegde and features a retro theme, involves Suriya portraying a gangster. In heartfelt social media posts, Suriya expressed gratitude towards his cast and crew, notably calling Subbaraj a 'brother for life'. The film is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment in collaboration with Karthik's Stone Bench Films, with music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Although initially speculated to release during Pongal 2025, the release date remains unconfirmed. Following this project, Suriya is set to appear in the film 'Kanguva', slated for a November 2024 release.
