Lincoln County Man Held in Neighbor Shooting Incident

Zackery Ryan Gardner, 30, a resident of Lincolnton, North Carolina, was arrested on Saturday after allegedly firing multiple shots from his home at two neighboring, occupied houses on English Oak Drive. One of the homes was struck several times, but no injuries were reported. Deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded, arrested Gardner, and seized multiple firearms and ammunition from his residence. Gardner faces 10 felony charges of shooting into occupied property, with each charge corresponding to a shot fired. He is being held without bond at the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center. Gardner's first court appearance is scheduled for Monday, June 9, and the investigation remains ongoing.
