Two State Troopers Arrested for Suspected DUI

Massachusetts State Police Trooper James Doran, recently graduated from the academy, was arrested for drunk driving after crashing into another vehicle in Tewksbury. The incident, occurring late Sunday night, involved Doran rear-ending a car at a red light, leaving the occupants with minor injuries. Doran, who refused sobriety tests, was found with open alcohol containers in his vehicle and was charged with operating under the influence. Separately, Maryland State Police Lt. Duane Hill, with nearly 20 years of service, was also arrested for suspected DUI after a crash on I-83. Both officers have been placed on administrative leave pending investigations. These incidents raise concerns about accountability and conduct within state police forces.
