Hannah Glass Dies from Peanut Allergy Reaction

Hannah Glass, a 19-year-old college student from Wisconsin, tragically died after consuming a gluten-free brownie containing roasted peanut flour, which triggered a severe allergic reaction. Despite having a history of peanut allergies and carrying an EpiPen, she experienced life-threatening symptoms after eating the brownie prepared by a campus women's group. Her parents, David and Janean Glass, recounted her rapid decline after taking Benadryl and laying down, which led to a collapsed lung and cardiac arrest. Following her passing, the Glass family chose to donate Hannah's organs, which have since saved multiple lives, hoping to raise awareness about food allergies in the process.
